Slip rings are designed from customer supplied information that is started with information provided on the INQUIRY form at this web site. Additional information as needed is requested by phone or e-mail to accurately define the slip ring design and specifications. The information provided guides the design process to develop slip rings to fit within the parameters of your needs and also to work with existing equipment or retrofit to older equipment.
All of our slip ring designs are based on the flat “pancake” or platter configuration to provide a minimum axial length needed to accommodate a maximum number of conductors for power and data channels.
Redundant brush contacts are provided on each conductor ring to provide very high reliability, long operating wear life and minimal dynamic electrical noise.
